Senior Accountant
Responsibilities
-Assist in the preparation of compilation, review and audit engagements
-Prepare corporate and personal tax returns
-Assist in training of new staff
-Active Coach and mentor to team members
-Reviewing files prepared by junior staff
-Prepare financial statements and notes
Qualifications/Skills
-CPA designation or in process
-Minimum of 2 years in a similar role in a public accounting environment
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
-Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
-Ambitious and personable

Accounting Technician
This individual will be responsible to provide exceptional bookkeeping services to our clients in various business sectors including onboarding clients to new processes and fulfilling day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Qualifications
-A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an accounting diploma
-Proficient skills in QuickBooks online/desktop, Sage 50, Microsoft Office programs
-Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
-Ability to multitask and manage multiple client work loads
-Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
-Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Responsibilities
-Record daily business transactions
-Manage bank account reconciliations
-Completion of HST filings, payroll and source deduction filings and completion of annual T4 summary and slips
-Establish strong client relationships
-Ability to prepare year-end working papers is an asset
-Driver’s license is necessary to be able to travel to client locations as required in Windsor-Essex County
