Accounting Manager/Senior Manager

As a result of our continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious, personable individual to join our management team as an Accounting Manager or Senior Manager. This individual should possess strong accounting technical abilities, work-ethic and relentless client service focus needed to succeed in this position with an opportunity for further advancement in our assurance group.
 
Responsibilities
-Manage our client engagements from planning through completion and delivery, over a wide range of compilation, review and audit engagements including the related tax returns
-Deliver and provide added advisory services to client
-Lead multiple client facing engagement teams
-Active Coach and mentor to team members
-Playing an active role in assisting the firm achieve its strategic goals
-Become actively engaged in the Windsor-Essex marketplace and business development opportunities as they arise
-Develop detailed reports for oversight committees, board of directors and senior management
-Monitor progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are advised on progression and
expected outcomes
-Demonstrate in-depth technical and professional knowledge
-Establish strong client relationships
 
Qualifications/Skills
-CPA designation required
-Minimum of 3 years in a similar role in a public accounting environment
-Strong project management and time management skills
-Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
-Ambitious and personable with the ability to interact directly with owner-managed businesses
